BIO:
Founded by guitarist and singer Francesco Alfano in 2015, Lucid Movement is a hard rocking band that always delivers the energy.
The group is a power trio, with Francesco being joined by William Brown on bass and Michael Wiznuk on drums. Their style incorporates influences from the 70s and 90s hard rock, with distinctive three-part vocal harmonies.
Having performed at many of Toronto’s music staples including: The Horseshoe Tavern, Bovine Sex Club, Lees Palace, The Garrison, Rivoli and others, Lucid Movement is a band that is most comfortable on the stage delivering a highly enthusiastic and raw performance. Included with their Toronto performances, the band has been focused on developing their out of town presence having played: Oshawa, Windsor, Montreal and Kingston.
Most recently they have released a live album recorded at Soundhouse Studio, which includes two new songs and an old favourite, Just an Obstacle. Their newly released album is available on all streaming platforms here: https://linktr.ee/LucidMovement
On September 28, 2019 Lucid Movement released their debut EP titled Selfish Tendencies. The album was produced by Ted Sevdalis from Gummy Bear Music, who engineered Robi Boto’s Juno Award winning 2018 Jazz album Old Soul. It was mastered by Mike Kalajian from Rogue Planet Mastering in New York.
